About My Practice
I have a general practice in San Jose and work with adults, teens, and couples. Clients come from many ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, to resolve a wide range of issues including:
- Relationship and communication issues
- Damaged self-esteem
- Anxiety, depression and stress
- Marital &/or couples issues
- Grief and loss
- Life transitions including role or age changes
- Physical, emotional and sexual abuse
- Parenting concerns
- Career stress and changes

About Me
I have always been interested in people and in health. I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from San Jose State University and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. Having education and training in both of these areas increases my understanding of clients’ experiences and stresses. I am licensed by the State of California as a Marriage and Family Therapist. I have taught parenting classes and have presented seminars at local companies on subjects such as stress management, communication skills, conflict resolution, assertiveness, parenting, and relationship skills.
Because I am dedicated to providing the most effective therapy for my clients, I continue my education through attending classes, seminars and conferences. I participate in on-going consultation with other therapists and read professional journals as well as relevant books and articles. I am an active member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and the Santa Clara Valley chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (SCV-CAMFT).
